VOICEBOX
A different concept in modern editions of Baroque vocal music, designed to meet the needs of performers at all levels of experience: two publications in one. Each title consists of two books: the main score, containing the original vocal line and bass with a fully realised keyboard part written by the editor Timothy Roberts, a leading authority on both the repertory and its performance, and a separate partbook for voice and bass alone. Singers will find either equally practical to use, and their accompanists can choose the part that suits them best.
Vox 01: Thirteen Mad Songs Book One, edited by Timothy Roberts: £11.45
John Eccles: Oh! take him gently from the pile, Must then a faithful lover go? I burn, my brain consumes to ashes. Godfrey Finger: While I with wounding grief did look. Daniel Purcell: Morpheus, thou gentle god. Henry Purcell: Bess of Bedlam, Let the dreadful engines of eternal will.
Vox 02: Thirteen Mad Songs Book Two, edited by Timothy Roberts: £11.45

Vox 03: Twelve Songs by John Blow, edited by Timothy Roberts: £11.45
Fairest work of happy Nature, Flavia grown old, Lovely Selina, innocent and free, No more the dear lovely nymph, O mighty God, who sit'st on high, Of all the torments, Oh! that mine eyes would melt into a flood, O turn not those fine eyes away, A Pastoral Elegy, Sabina has a thousand charms, Why does the morn' in blushes rise? Why weeps Asteria?
